On today’s Sportsman’s Adventures we won’t have to travel very far to tackle the fish-filled waters of Miami’s Government Cut. Capt Rick Murphy and our special guest, Capt Jim Hobales, take a quick boat ride to spend a cool February day fishing the Cut. Located just off the southern tip of toney South Beach, Government Cut is a man-made highway for fish moving from the ocean to the inland waters and bays of South Florida. Tarpon, snook and permit are the main attraction but keep an eye on your depth-finder….don’t overlook the deep, rocky bottom in the Cut…the fishing can be off the charts !
